Atsushi Yamamoto joined JAFCO as a new university graduate in 2014 and worked at the Kyushu Branch (currently merged into West Japan Branch) for five years, where he experienced investment in startups in the Kyushu region. Currently as a member of the Business Development Division, he provides various support for portfolio companies and also for collaboration between large companies and startups. His other responsibilities include holding seminars and webinars to provide leads to portfolio companies. He was involved in planning, convening, and operating more than 100 sessions over the two years from 2020 to 2022.
