Since joining JAFCO in 2007, Takayuki Matsumoto has been involved in a variety of investments, primarily in seed- and early-stage companies in the IT sector, for over 10 years. His current target sectors are Saas, AI, advertising, VR and CleanTech.
In 2011, he was sent on loan to the Public Underwriting Department of Nomura Securities, and for the next 2 years, he worked in the Business Development Division. Based on these experiences, his expertise in support operations has expanded to include IPO preparations, equity story development, business planning, corporate alliance and HR recruitment.
Currently, he is also in charge of new graduate recruitment.
