Since joining JAFCO as a new graduate in 2010, Tatsuya Nagaoka has been consistently involved in startup investments. His main responsibilities include identifying investment candidates, executing investments, supporting business development and IPO preparations of portfolio companies. He also provides a wide range of operational support, working full-time at portfolio companies on as needed basis, from planning and executing financing strategies to creating business plans/equity stories, sales, recruitment, and marketing support. His investment domains include Deep Tech, cybersecurity, education, space, and health tech.
He received a M.S. degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Graduate School of Engineering at Kyoto University.
