Career
Since joining JAFCO in 2005, Tomoko Numata has been a member of the Investment Division. She has experience investing in/ exiting companies in a wide range of industries and stages. Since 2010, her focus has been on startups that solve deep social issues in the medicine, healthcare, and energy domains.
Appointed Chief Capitalist in April 2022. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Hitotsubashi University.
